Kennel Club Gold Award
The Kennel Club Gold Award course is designed to give a follow up to the Silver and Bronze Awards and will develop the foundations already established at Bronze and Silver level. The course is for 5 weeks and costs £50. The course covers street walking on a loose lead with changes of pace, recall with a wait to heel, basic positions, handling for examinations by other people, stays, go to a bed, food manners, emergency stop the dog and working around distractions. All dogs are welcome who have completed their Bronze and Silver Award training.

Currently courses are held outside at The Fulforth Centre, Sacriston.
Next course starts January 2025
If you want to book onto a Good Citizen course, pre booking is essential, numbers are limited so early booking is recommended.

All training is positive using reward based training with treats and toys.
